The Mellieha Northenders is one of the longest-tenured baseball teams in Malta. Founded in 1983 by Ray Bartolo, they nurtured a number of Maltese baseball players who later signed with successful international teams. They train at the Mellieha Football Ground on Thursdays at 20:30.
