What a game! The Brewers staged a remarkable comeback against the Patriots, who had a 10-4 lead until the fifth inning. The Brewers scored four runs in the sixth inning, thanks to a two-run inside-the-park homer by Carmelo Martini and a two-run single by Gustavo Alvares. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Brewers completed their rally with another four runs, tying the game at 10-10 with a triple by Martini and a single by Alvares. With the bases loaded, Renny Gonzales drew a walk-off walk, giving the Brewers a thrilling 12-11 victory.
The MVP of the game was Carmelo Martini, who had a clutch performance with the bat, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Gustavo Alvares also had a key role, contributing four RBIs and scoring the tying run.
The Brewers now stand 1 game back of the 3rd place Mustangs, who they will face next week.
