In a memorable second game of the day, we saw the first out of the park homerun of the season! Yerwin Sánchez connected on a pitch and sent the ball over the left field fence to help Sliema take a comfortable lead. The Saints’ defense was not enough to keep the Patriots at bay as inside-the-park homeruns by Gabriel di Sabatino and David Rangel secured the doubleheader sweep for the Patriots. Gabriel di Sabatino was voted the MVP of the game for his defensive plays in center field while also going 4 for 4 and driving in 4 runs at the plate.
