The Mellieha Northenders and Saints traded strong defensive innings as the Saints turned 2 double plays in the 2nd inning and the 3rd inning respectively. An inside the park 3-run home run by Mellieha’s Michael Bartolo was the decider as Mellieha beat the Saints 9-7. Third baseman Matt Borg was voted the player of the game for his offensive and defensive performance.
